About the Role
We are looking for a Corporate/Security Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team at air up. This role involves building and evolving our corporate IT infrastructure while handling security-related topics from user endpoints to governance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create, build, test, deliver and support infrastructure, automation, and employee tooling
- →Architect and maintain a Zero Trust corporate infrastructure
- →Lead infrastructure changes, evolve system design, and foster good engineering practices
- →Design and deploy a unified detection and response pipeline using Security as a Code approach
- →Create, implement, manage, and enforce security policies and procedures
- →Drive continuous threat modeling and automated vulnerability management
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (or an intriguing reason for not having one)
- ✓3+ years of experience as a modern IT System Administrator / DevOps / Security / infrastructure engineer
- ✓Proficiency in using various security tools and software for monitoring, assessment, and protection
- ✓Knowledge of cloud security best practices, especially specific cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ✓Highly proficient in spoken and written English and have a good command of German
- ✓Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
