About the Role
Airwallex is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Scale Team, responsible for building and maintaining the embedded finance platform that powers global businesses. This role involves designing systems that meet enterprise-grade SLAs and handling cross-data-center scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain multi-tenant infrastructure for embedded finance platform
- →Design integrations for enterprise prospects by translating business requirements into technical solutions
- →Synthesize knowledge across business, regulatory, and technical domains for cross-domain product features
- →Design systems that aggregate requests from all platform customers while meeting enterprise-grade SLAs
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience in Java/Spring Boot
- ✓Ability to make the right level of abstraction in system/component design
- ✓Clean communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Pragmatic decision-making on performance vs. velocity optimization
- ✓Experience in cross-functional environments spanning Product, Design, Compliance, and Sales
- ✓Design for scale, maintainability, and production excellence
