About the Role
We are looking for a QA Video Engineer to join our R&D team at Ajax Systems, Europe's largest manufacturer of security systems. This role focuses on building and developing the QA Video direction for embedded/hardware products.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and develop the QA Video direction for embedded/hardware products
- βFormulate and implement testing strategy and quality assurance processes
- βPlan and control the full testing cycle of Video devices
- βConduct exploratory testing: set up experiments, develop methodologies, analyze results
- βAnalyze and localize hardware and software defects using diagnostic tools
- βInteract with other R&D teams
- βBuild and develop QA teams (hiring, mentoring, development of specialists)
- βImprove and optimize QA processes according to company approaches
- βMaintain technical documentation and reporting
Requirements
- βExperience working with embedded or hardware products
- βExperience working with devices (schematics, understanding component principles, diagnostics)
- βPractical experience with UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO
- βExperience with logic analyzer, programmer, and oscilloscope
- βProficient use of Linux console (tail, grep, sort, sysfs, udev, logcat)
- βExperience with exploratory testing (setting up experiments, analyzing results)
- βStrong analytical skills and ability to localize problems
- βExperience in building or developing QA teams
