About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Krakow mobile team at EBS Sp. z o.o., a Polish technology company specializing in smart security solutions. You will be hands-on with code while also mentoring engineers and driving architectural decisions, focusing on building robust React Native applications for Android.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead the design and development of React Native mobile applications
- βDefine the mobile architecture, ensuring scalability and seamless integration with micro-services backend
- βBuild and maintain bridges between React Native and native Android layers
- βMentor other engineers in the Krakow office, conducting code reviews
- βPartner with US-based stakeholders to refine requirements
- βChampion automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization
Requirements
- βBachelorβs or Masterβs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- β8+ years of professional software development experience
- β4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native in a production environment
- βSolid background in Native Android Development (Java/Kotlin)
- βProven experience leading a team, mentoring junior/mid-level developers
- βEnglish proficiency (C1 level preferred)
