About the Role
The HR Business Partner – Retail serves as a strategic people partner to Retail leadership, supporting store operations and field teams across a geographically dispersed workforce. This role aligns people strategies with retail business objectives, driving performance, engagement, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, driving strategic people initiatives and organizational design improvements
- →Champion organizational change, change management, and process improvement initiatives
- →Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning
- →Support and implement scalable programs to promote a high-performance, inclusive culture
- →Provide strategic guidance on employee relations matters and ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance
- →Lead the design and execution of performance management strategies
- →Ensure HR practices remain in compliance with evolving labor laws and regulations
- →Use data and analytics to assess trends and influence business decisions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree required
- ✓SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred
- ✓8+ years progressive HR experience, including retail or field-based support
- ✓Experience supporting high-volume, hourly workforces
- ✓Deep knowledge of multi-state labor laws
- ✓Ability to travel regularly to stores and field locations
