About the Role
The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team at ALO, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to ensure optimal store operations and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink
- →Investigate inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General Manager to address process or system gaps
- →Manage key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, and replenishment
- →Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor
- →Support a safe work environment through effective stockroom standards
- →Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager on reporting, budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
- →Demonstrate business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business strategies
- →Assess and fulfill business needs on the retail floor
- →Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience
- →Oversee Operations Associates, including recruitment and development
- →Provide feedback to drive individual growth and improvement
- →Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective training and business execution
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- ✓Proven leadership capabilities with excellent decision-making skills
- ✓Openness to receiving and providing feedback
- ✓High energy and enthusiasm with the ability to integrate fun into work
- ✓Self-motivation with a desire to achieve results individually and as a team
- ✓Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- ✓Alignment with and embodiment of Alo’s guiding principles
