Business Analyst at ALTEN

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will join the Software Competence Center where you will work on strategic projects with high stakes.

Key Responsibilities

• →Analyze business needs and build, maintain, and share functional knowledge of our processes, services, and the use of products intended for end users.
• →Analyze business needs submitted by Product Management or by client applications.
• →Evaluate and estimate specification and validation activities.
• →Write feasibility studies, solution overview documents, Interface Control Documents, product specifications, and user guides.
• →Present functional walkthroughs to all relevant stakeholders.
• →Interact with different divisions and departments to identify interactions with other applications and ensure functional compatibility.
• →Contribute to product innovation and evolution.
• →Validate the product to ensure the compliance of delivered features and system integrity, and perform sign-off.
• →Ensure production integrity by investigating, validating, and prioritizing reported incidents.
• →Provide contributions to the test strategy and investigation of defects in production to ensure compliance of delivered features and system integrity.
• →Interact and communicate with Product Management, Project Management, Implementation, CISO, Migration, and Development teams.
• →Collaborate with internal or external clients during needs understanding, functional specification, and implementation phases.
• →Propose relevant actions and processes to facilitate the adoption of solutions.
• →Track project risks and report them proactively to management and stakeholders.
• →Provide visibility on project progress to all stakeholders.
• →Carry the strategic vision of the solution.
• →For a typical project, collaborate with Product Management to contribute to the drafting of the Statement of Requirement and validate its content.
• →Interact with clients (internal/external) when they are involved, particularly in the initial phases and/or during implementation.
• →Provide level 4 support and maintain delivered features.
• →Design the product or feature and write associated specifications.
• →Coordinate the different project phases with stakeholders (development, QA, etc.) and ensure visibility on progress.
• →Review and validate QA test plans.
• →Participate in release sign-off and risk assessment.
