About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience and strong expertise in Python and API development. This role will involve working on several strategic Cloud projects within a senior Cloud Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and develop Python APIs using FastAPI or Flask
→Implement documentation via OpenAPI
→Manage semantic versioning of APIs
→Ensure code quality and maintainability
→Implement security mechanisms including OIDC, RBAC, rate limiting, and schema validation
→Manage secrets and secure access
→Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
→Industrialize builds and releases
→Containerize applications with Docker
→Participate in GitOps approaches
→Interact with Cloud resources via Terraform
→Integrate APIs with DNS, KeyVault/secret management, Storage, and reverse proxies/gateways (Nginx, Envoy, HAProxy)
→Centralize logs, metrics, and traces
→Define SLI/SLO
→Implement alerts and runbooks
→Set up unit tests, integration tests, and load tests
→Ensure service resilience
→Implement controlled rollback mechanisms
→Document APIs and architectures
→Create templates and integration guides
→Participate in security and code reviews
