About the Role
You will join a senior Cloud team to work on email architecture and infrastructure. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust email systems.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign an SMTP Postfix architecture integrated with Google Workspace
- βImplement high availability (HA) architectures and split/dual delivery mechanisms
- βConfigure SMTP flows, message filtering, and routing
- βImplement email security standards including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and ARC
- βSecure communications via opportunistic or forced TLS
- βManage certificates and DANE/TLSA mechanisms
- βImplement Infrastructure as Code for deployments
- βIndustrialize deployments with Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack
- βIntegrate processes into CI/CD pipelines
- βManage DNS configurations (TXT/MX)
- βCentralize logs and implement observability tools
- βBuild monitoring dashboards
- βDiagnose incidents related to deliverability and SMTP flows
- βTrack email reputation and deliverability
- βManage bounces, RBL, and rate limiting
- βImplement content filtering mechanisms
- βWrite technical documentation
- βProduce operation runbooks
- βStandardize practices within the Cloud ecosystem
Requirements
- βExperience with Postfix and SMTP architecture
- βKnowledge of Google Workspace integration
- βStrong Linux administration skills
- βProficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack
- βExperience with CI/CD pipelines
- βUnderstanding of email security standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, ARC)
- βFamiliarity with TLS and DANE/TLSA mechanisms
- βDNS management experience (MX, TXT records)
- βExperience with observability tools like Loki
- βKnowledge of Kubernetes or other cloud platforms
