About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to support a long-term defence project based in Dorset. This role involves hands-on development, secure coding, and contributing to system design within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work through Java development tickets and deliver high-quality code
- →Design, build, and maintain Java applications within a service-oriented architecture
- →Develop and manage RESTful APIs for system integration
- →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all work meets strict security and defence standards
- →Contribute to system design sessions and architecture reviews using Enterprise Architect
- →Follow Agile development practices and support continuous improvement
