About the Role

AIR is seeking a Junior Programmer to support research projects by querying large claims databases and building analytic datasets. This role will contribute to technical documentation and ensure quality of work products.

Key Responsibilities

→Query large databases including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer claims data
→Construct and document analytic data files
→Create customized and presentation-quality reports from data analysis results
→Apply quantitative methods and techniques to manage and analyze research data
→Participate in the design of research studies
→Manage administrative aspects of projects
→Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports
→Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related quantitative analytics field with a minimum of 2 years quantitative research experience in health policy or a related field, or a Master's degree in quantitative analytics field, health policy, public policy, or public health
✓2 years of experience in SQL/Python/Linux
✓Experience processing and analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, or other commercial claims data
✓Knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques
✓Experience with Snowflake and Data bricks preferred
