About the Role
We are seeking a Counselor II/III to join our Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). This role involves delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services within prison and re-entry programs, helping individuals in the community while enhancing your professional training and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based and standardized curriculum
- →Conduct individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and provide make-up work
- →Evaluate and document participant progress in assigned classes
- →Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS
- →Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations
- →Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and contracted staff
- →Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- ✓Certified as an AOD Counselor
- ✓One year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services
