About the Role
We are looking for a Peer Navigator to join Amity Foundation's prison and re-entry programs. This role involves instructing CBI Life Skills and Family Relations Programming to help participants in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- →Facilitate CBI Life Skills and/or Family Relations classes using evidence-based curriculum
- →Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop action plans or provide make-up work
- →Evaluate and document participant progress in assigned classes
- →Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations
- →Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS
- →Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and contracted staff
- →Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent
- ✓Certification by CalMHSA
- ✓Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- ✓Ability to foster teamwork and cohesiveness
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- ✓Ability to maintain confidential information
- ✓Ability to operate general office equipment
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
