The Role

Our model, Forward Deployed Talent, pairs People Partners and Recruiters into talent pods aligned to the business. Together, they don’t just support teams; they shape how those teams perform, grow, and experience work.
The Lead People Partner is a high-judgment, high-impact leadership role where you will help design how our Go-to-Market (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) organizations win, while ensuring employees are set up to have career-defining experiences.

Core Responsibilities
Human-Centered Workforce Design
• Strategic Architect: Partner directly with GTM leaders to design organizational structures that prioritize flow over friction. You will determine how humans and AI agents work together to maximize creativity and output.
• Talent Orchestration: You will lead continuous workforce planning, moving beyond static, quarterly exercises to real-time, data-informed decisions.
• Future-Proofing: Lead gap analyses to identify "skills of the future" and design upskilling initiatives that ensure our people evolve as fast as our technology.
Performance, Culture & Accountability
• High-Performance Accountability: Design and reinforce a culture where values, behaviors, and incentives are tightly aligned. You will coach leaders to have high-stakes performance conversations, rewarding impact over activity.
• Culture of Belonging: Design and reinforce experiences that make employees feel clear on what’s expected, confident in how they grow, and supported through high-stakes or personal moments.
• Empathy at Scale: Provide bespoke, high-EQ support for complex life events and high-stakes interactions.
Strategic Advisory & Digital Innovation
• The "Knowledge Flywheel": You won’t just solve problems; you will codify your high-judgment decision-making. You’ll partner with the People Ops team to build the playbooks and logic that allow our agentic stack to scale.
• Predictive Talent Insights: Move beyond lagging indicators (like turnover) to leading indicators. You will use our unified data stack to identify burnout risks, leadership gaps, and talent density trends before they impact the P&L.
• The Human Guardrail: You serve as the ethical compass for our HR technology. You ensure that as we automate the transactional, we never lose the relational—protecting the "human-in-the-loop" for all high-stakes career milestones.
About You
• 12+ Years of Strategic Partnership: You’ve navigated the "messy middle" of high-growth tech ($100M to $1B+ ARR). You have a proven track record of partnering with GTM leaders who are brilliant, demanding, and move at breakneck speed.
• The System Mindset: You connect talent, incentives, structure, and culture into a cohesive operating model. You have a bias for building scalable frameworks that reduce the need for manual intervention and "one-off" exceptions.
• Foundational Mastery: You possess a sophisticated understanding of global employment law, total rewards, and talent management. You don't need a map for the basics, which allows you to spend your mental energy on the frontier of HR innovation.
• High-EQ Leadership Coaching: You are a truthteller. You have the gravitas to challenge a VP on their leadership style and the empathy to coach a first-time manager through a complex team restructuring.
• Technological Fluidity: You are a power user of modern stacks (e.g., HiBob, Greenhouse, Pave, Kinfolk). More importantly, you have an experimental mindset and you aren't just using these tools; you are constantly looking for ways to integrate and automate them to buy back your own time.

Seattle, WA
Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility
Compensation
Base Salary: $160,000-$220,000. Individual compensation within this range will depend on several factors, including your skills, experience, education/training, geographic location and the level at which you join. We also consider internal equity, market conditions, and overall business needs.
Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
