ODL Associate Software Engineer About the Role We are looking for a curious and team-focused ODL Associate Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data pipelines, services, and infrastructure that power our analytics and business intelligence platforms. This position is ideal for an engineer who is just starting their career and is passionate about data, accountable for their work, and looking for an opportunity to grow their skills and contribute to a high performing team. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ELT pipelines. • Build and support scalable REST services using Python. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes. • Utilize Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure as code. • Develop comprehensive tests (Test Development) to ensure data quality and system reliability. • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on projects using SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, and Pandas. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of BI Dashboarding solutions. • Work within a team-focused environment, demonstrating curiosity and a data-driven mindset. Required Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in a software or data engineering role or internship. • Experience developing in Python. • At least one of: • Experience building or consuming REST services. • Hands-on experience with a distributed data processing framework like Spark/Databricks. • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools. • Basic understanding of data science tools and techniques (SQL, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas). • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s). • Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and logging. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
