Β
We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Member of Product, Custody role:
Technical Skills:
β’ Own the Transparency strategy and roadmap end to end, balancing platform investment with regulated-product delivery commitments.
β’ Drive prioritization across four squads:
β’ Onboarding & Monitoring: modular onboarding flows and APIs, KYC review tools, questionnaire framework, customer risk rating and monitoring
β’ Transaction Risk Management: travel rule, deposit attribution and trusted sources, sanctions and screening integrations, account restriction framework
β’ Billing & Revenue: pricing and CPQ workflows, billing engine and invoicing, NetSuite integrations and auto-pay, tax reporting and tax center
β’ Data Platform: reporting and statementing, customer intelligence framework, lifecycle signals (dormancy and attrition), automation of compliance and lifecycle operations
β’ Define and ship the API contract and integration model for Transparency so that other product teams (Custody, Trading, Banking, Wealth, ADGS, Atlas, Protocols) can consume Transparency services as a platform rather than as bespoke per-product builds.
β’ Build deep working understanding of system architecture across compliance tooling, ledger and account models, screening providers, and case management to set clear engineering requirements.
β’ Drive go-to-market and adoption metrics for Transparency as an internal platform: time to onboard a new client segment, time to integrate a new product, manual ops hours per case, billing accuracy and revenue leakage, regulatory audit readiness.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
β’ Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Security, Operations, Finance, and Sales, aligning priorities and decision-making across competing goals.
β’ Drive consistent outcomes across multiple jurisdictions and regulated entities, balancing local requirements with a coherent global platform strategy.
β’ Own KPI acceleration through product execution: faster onboarding and activation, reduced manual operations cost per case, and increased shipping speed for new products and client segments.
β’ Make high-judgment trade-offs where regulatory, operational, security, and product constraints are tightly coupled, while maintaining audit readiness and clear accountability for end-to-end delivery.
Organizational Knowledge:
β’ Deliver company objectives through strategic product decisions that unlock new client segments and product lines while strengthening Anchorage's regulatory moat, grounded in a deep partnership with Compliance and Operations.
β’ Build and maintain a high-trust relationship with Compliance and Operations leaders by aligning early on risk posture, controls, and operational realities, and by delivering with predictable execution.
β’ Actively contribute to organizational strategy by shaping how Transparency capabilities (compliance, billing, customer intelligence) become differentiators for Anchorage.
β’ Define and evolve the Transparency org design, squad structure, and ways of working so that the team scales with Anchorage's growth.
Communication and Influence:
β’ Act as the single point of contact for Transparency across the company: route incoming requests, set expectations on engagement model, and partner with other product leads on shared roadmaps.
β’ Mediate between Compliance and product/engineering teams, helping Compliance get comfortable with iterative approaches and helping product teams take Compliance requirements seriously.
β’ Effectively influence and motivate across all levels of the organization, from co-founders and Head of Compliance to individual engineers and operators.
β’ Serve as an internal evangelist for the Transparency platform, presenting roadmap, strategy, and outcomes to leadership, partner teams, and external clients and regulators when needed.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
β’ 8+ years of product management experience, including significant time leading PMs and shipping compliance, financial crimes, payments, or banking infrastructure products at a regulated financial institution, exchange, or fintech
β’ People management experience leading and growing a team of senior PMs across multiple squads or workstreams
β’ Deep financial crimes / compliance product expertise: you have personally shipped or owned KYC/KYB, AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, case management, customer risk rating, or travel rule products, and you understand how each of these is operated by Compliance day to day
β’ Platform product experience: you have built internal platforms or external API products and understand how to design service contracts, integration models, SLAs, and adoption motions for internal customers
β’ Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction regulated businesses (e.g. national bank, broker-dealer, money transmitter, MAS, EU regimes) and the interplay between product velocity and regulatory obligations
β’ Strong technical fluency: you can go deep on data models, APIs, system architecture, and event-driven workflows, and you earn credibility with engineering teams
β’ Cross-functional leadership at scale: you have driven outcomes across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Security, and Operations, and you are comfortable being the single accountable senior product voice in the room.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if you have:
β’ Led a compliance product org at a crypto exchange, custodian, or digital asset bank
β’ Built or led a banking-as-a-service, custody-as-a-service, or payments-as-a-service compliance/transparency layer
β’ Direct experience with crypto-specific compliance challenges: on-chain analytics, deposit attribution, smart contract counterparty risk, DeFi interactions from a regulated entity, and travel rule for crypto
β’ Led a billing, revenue, or data platform inside a multi-product company.
β’ A background in engineering, equipping you with the acumen to effectively collaborate with technical teams
β’ Worked closely with regulators (OCC, NYDFS, MAS, EU) on novel product designs
