Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st centuryβs most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Andurilβs family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We're looking for a Product Manager to drive simulation infrastructure and capabilities that enable autonomy development, testing, and validation at scale across Anduril.
The Lattice Simulation Group builds the foundational infrastructure and products that power autonomy development, scaled test and evaluation, operations analysis, and wargaming for the company.
In this role, you'll lead critical initiatives that require both product thinking and deep technical coordination across teams.
You'll scope and execute complex projects like driving adoption of Faster-Than-Real-Time (FTRT) testing for autonomy workflows, driving requirements for Federation and Live-Virtual-Constructive test infrastructure, and scaling synthetic environment capabilities. This work requires building relationships across business lines, understanding diverse technical requirements, and delivering platform capabilities that enable autonomy developers to move faster.
You should have experience in systems/software development, and the ability to learn technical concepts quickly. You will need to be comfortable working with engineers and digging into the details to understand system dependencies, technical risks and the impact of key architectural decisions. You should be excellent at execution and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
β’ Drive platform initiatives. Lead scoping and execution of simulation infrastructure projects including FTRT testing adoption, LVC test infrastructure, and synthetic environment capabilities. Define technical roadmaps that balance immediate needs with long-term platform goals.
β’ Enable autonomy developers. Work directly with autonomy teams to understand their workflows and pain points. Drive strategy to shift 80% of autonomy development workflows to FTRT simulation stacks. Measure adoption and iterate based on feedback.
β’ Coordinate across teams. Build relationships with teams across all business lines that use simulation infrastructure. Gather requirements, understand constraints, and align diverse stakeholders around shared technical direction.
β’ Decompose and execute. Break down ambiguous problems into concrete technical plans. Work hands-on to scope features, plan sprints, identify dependencies, and drive execution to completion.
β’ Own technical strategy. Develop technical pathways for complex initiatives like geospatial infrastructure and synthetic environments. Make architectural decisions that balance performance, cost, and developer experience.
β’ Communicate context. Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders and business context for engineering teams. Set clear expectations and escalate tradeoffs when needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
β’ 5-10 years in product management, software development, or managing complex technical systems
β’ Technical background with experience in simulation systems, autonomy development, or adjacent domains
β’ Track record working on platform or infrastructure teams with an "enable builders" mindset
β’ Evidence of being scrappy and hands-on to ship projects, not just planning them
β’ Strong ability to build relationships and coordinate across multiple technical teams
β’ Demonstrated success decomposing complex technical problems and driving execution
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
β’ Experience with autonomy development workflows
β’ Experience with FTRT simulation, Software-in-the-Loop (SiTL), or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiTL) testing
β’ Familiarity with LVC architectures, HLA/DIS standards, or distributed simulation systems
β’ Experience with geospatial data pipelines, terrain generation, or synthetic environments
β’ Background in defense, aerospace, or autonomous systems through industry or education
β’ Active security clearance helpful but not required
