About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to apply academic knowledge to real-world accounting practices while gaining valuable insight into the financial operations of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- →Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- →Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- →Process and verify employee expense reports in accordance with company policy
- →Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- →Provide support during audits by preparing schedules and gathering necessary documents
- →Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required
Requirements
- ✓Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- ✓Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- ✓Strong quantitative and effective communication skills
- ✓Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- ✓Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- ✓Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and eagerness to take on new challenges
