About the Role

Apex Companies is seeking a talented Project Manager with drinking water experience to join their Northeast Division. This role involves providing technical leadership for water system design-related projects in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

→Manage project implementation with assigned project team and follow all company policies and operating procedures
→Develop proposals/scopes of work and project budgets for approval by the Principal
→Supervise and direct technical staff on projects and assist in their training and technical development
→Consult with other technical staff and Project Managers on technical challenges in the drinking water discipline
→Oversee the technical accuracy of projects through regular communications and reviews
→Track all project costs and ensure timely invoice issuance to clients
→Prepare proposals, participate in project interviews, attend public meetings, and develop fee proposals

Requirements

✓Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 9+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility, or a master’s degree with 8+ years of experience
✓Registered Professional Engineer or other relevant Professional Registrations
✓Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants, and contractors
✓Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory framework and experience interacting with regulators
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong desire to manage and mentor junior staff
✓Valid driver’s license
