About the Role
Apex Companies is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their award-winning Northeast Division. This role involves managing transportation projects and mentoring staff in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Supervise and direct the preparation of design and construction bid documents for transportation projects
- →Present at meetings with clients and the public
- →Maintain project financials, schedules, and advancement
- →Manage and mentor staff, resolve issues, and manage workloads
- →Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts
- →Maintain communication with clients including municipalities and regional agencies
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- ✓8+ years of experience in transportation engineering, including roadway design and project management
- ✓Broad understanding of transportation design and planning standards for state agencies
- ✓Professional Engineering License
- ✓Demonstrated effectiveness in planning, managing projects, and maintaining budgets and schedules
- ✓Skilled at building and maintaining positive client relations
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- ✓Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
