About the Role
We are looking for a Data Visualization Analyst to join our team at Appspace. This role focuses on designing the "command center" for our business, transforming complex SQL databases into high-performance Tableau dashboards that tell a clear, actionable story.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design intuitive, interactive, and impactful Tableau dashboards that provide stakeholders with actionable insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- →Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to deeply understand business requirements and translate them into visual analytics solutions that inform strategic decisions.
- →Update, improve, and troubleshoot existing Tableau dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- →Lead the strategic migration of legacy Google Sheets reporting into Tableau.
- →Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- →Ensure rigorous data validation and QA processes to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
- →Develop performant, scalable dashboards that optimize data volume and user experience.
- →Manage users, permissions, and folder structures within Tableau Cloud.
- →Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements across the organization.
- →Provide end-user training and ongoing support to help stakeholders interpret visualizations.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- ✓Minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on Tableau and proficiency in building complex, easy-to-interpret dashboards.
- ✓Experience with LOD expressions, Parameter/Set Actions, and bespoke visualizations.
- ✓Experience with data modeling within Tableau using joins and relationships.
- ✓Experience with data modeling within SQL using joins.
- ✓A proven track record of delivering end-to-end dashboard solutions.
- ✓Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database structures.
- ✓Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- ✓Expert knowledge of VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIFS.
- ✓Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- ✓Ability to present a portfolio of previous Tableau work during the interview.
