About the Role
We are looking for a Data Architect at Arc'teryx to establish the technical vision for our data landscape and lead the design of scalable, integrated data systems that power decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create enterprise data models, reference architectures, and technical standards for data systems
- →Lead architectural reviews and governance processes for major data initiatives
- →Develop data integration strategies that connect diverse systems across the organization
- →Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions
- →Guide implementation teams through complex technical decisions and trade-offs
- →Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural patterns for strategic advantage
- →Mentor engineers and analysts on data modeling and architectural best practices
- →Document architectural decisions, patterns, and enterprise data models
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or related fields
- ✓Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, system integration, and architectural patterns
- ✓Experience designing data architectures across operational and analytical domains
- ✓Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- ✓Experience with Azure Databricks, Power BI, and SAP Business Data Cloud including BW and Datasphere, or equivalent tools
- ✓Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- ✓Experience guiding cross-functional teams through architectural decisions
- ✓Proven track record of aligning technical solutions with business objectives
- ✓Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- ✓Ability to effectively balance autonomy and collaboration across diverse stakeholders
