<div><strong>Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:<br></strong><br>As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in ensuring our business teams are ready, confident, and supported as we introduce new technologies across the business. This is a role within the Technology department of the organization and sits closely with functional experts on the ERP and Corporate Applications team. This role is dynamic and will evolve as the needs of the team change. You will have the opportunity to build scale learning programs, strengthen adoption across large transformation initiatives, and influence how the organization adopts the new technologies. You will be the subject matter expert of our learning platform and lead conversations in both the technical and user side adoption of the technology. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid and remote work. <br><br><strong>Meet Your Future Team:<br><br></strong>The SAP Training team is a young team. It enables the business users of ERP and Corporate Applications team to successfully adopt new systems and ways of working through impactful learning experiences. We partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure employees receive the right information and support throughout the change lifecycle. <br><br></div>
If you were in the Instructional Designer role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
• Driving the conversations around our learning platform program deployment at Arcteryx
• Using the learning platform to create engaging content for our tech deployments. This includes point-of-use enablement and asynchronous learning/training
• Work with SI partners to understand learning needs and execute training sustainment plans
• Designing end-to-end learning strategies and developing training materials including work instructions, job aids, eLearning, and instructor led content
• Facilitating training sessions (virtual and in person) and supporting SMEs in delivering content
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
• Designing scalable user adoption programs that support organization wide SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Enhancing our learning ecosystem by maintaining up to date training assets that reflect evolving business processes
• Building and sustaining a strong network of change champions/key users across the organization
• Improving our training effectiveness measurement and driving continuous improvement
• Creating targeted communications and role based readiness plans for upcoming releases and business changes
Are you our next Instructional Designer?
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; training or certification in Instructional Design, adult learning, or change management is an asset
• You have 6–8+ years of Instructional Design experience in a technical environment; experience with SAP or integrated systems strongly preferred; retail experience is an advantage
• You have proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly learning content and to design/deliver training for large system or process changes
• You have strong communication, facilitation, and content‑creation skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders in fast‑paced or evolving environments
• You are skilled in applying Instructional Design methodologies and adult learning principles to build effective learning experiences
• You have strong experience with WalkMe platform and other learning platforms
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, building scalable processes, and supporting teams through change and system adoption
• You are highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clarity and momentum
