About the Role

The Platform software team is responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery of hardware validation and manufacturing diagnostic software. They work with fellow engineers and members of the hardware and manufacturing team to understand the design and help with validation.

Key Responsibilities

• →Develop tools and infrastructure for automating manual processes
• →Develop tools that visualize failures in manufacturing to help narrow down problems
• →Integrate various tools in Arista to create a unified ecosystem
• →Design and develop tools that provide configuration information to tests on the fly
• →Develop automated hardware testing infrastructure for production of Arista network switches
• →Develop a distributed system capable of handling hundreds of services
• →Interface with manufacturing teams to resolve problems and identify efficiency improvements
• →Track multiple software release branches and develop tools for code synchronization
