About the Role
Nitra is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our mission of building a more efficient healthcare system through fintech and software solutions. This role will help deliver innovative banking and SaaS products to businesses across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- →Independently communicate with Customer Support to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues
- →Design database schemas and APIs for small-to-medium scoped features
- →Implement features following internal engineering principles and guidelines
- →Provide estimates for their own work and communicate progress and risks proactively to the team
Requirements
- ✓Deep experience with and understanding of JavaScript (5+ years), Node.js (5+ years), Express.js framework (2+ years), APIs (5+ years), Building fintech backend APIs (1+ years), Databases (PostGreSQL) (2+ years), Architecture (2+ years), Fintech web applications (1+ years)
- ✓The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up
- ✓A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
- ✓A winning mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
- ✓Passion for creative thinking and bold ideas for growing the business/enhancing customer experience
