About the Role

We are looking for a CI/CD Engineer to join our team at Asana. This role focuses on building and operating high-performance CI/CD pipelines that enhance developer efficiency and ensure scalable delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, build, and operate systems that ensure Asana engineers are building and deploying high-quality products
→Own every part of the improvements you make, from infrastructure changes through to front end interfaces
→Advance your AI tooling experience in problem solving and decision making
→Modernize development, testing, and deployment tooling to tighten development iteration loops
→Solve scalability problems related to our development environment and build system
→Iterate and make decisions around tooling standards for the entire engineering organization

Requirements

✓4+ years of professional experience in CI/CD, Infrastructure, or Software Engineering
✓Expertise in CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with at least one major CI/CD platform
✓Strong coding skills in Typescript, Python, Ruby, Bash, or Go
✓Proven experience working with AI tooling and integrations
✓Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
✓Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
✓Passion for making other developers' lives better with excellent communication skills
✓Experience with building internal developer platforms or tools
✓Understanding of progressive delivery techniques
✓Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
✓Portfolio or examples of personal projects focused on developer tooling or automation
✓Active contributor to open source projects or experience with large-scale software development
