About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join Aspora, a borderless financial operating system that makes money as mobile and transparent as its users. As an early-stage startup, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend systems that power Aspora’s fintech platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop scalable backend systems for Aspora’s fintech products
- →Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code ensuring high performance and security
- →Build resilient, fault-tolerant systems that handle millions of transactions
- →Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless experiences
- →Implement robust API architectures, distributed systems, and database optimizations
- →Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend processes
- →Architect backend services that are modular, extensible, and scalable
Requirements
- ✓6-10 years in backend development, preferably in a product-based startup or fintech company
- ✓Strong ability to design modular, scalable, and high-performing backend systems
- ✓Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- ✓Ability to write efficient, high-performance code that scales
- ✓Someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys building things from scratch, and takes high ownership
