About the Role
Asset Living is seeking a Regional Facilities Support Specialist to oversee facilities management functions across multiple locations within a designated region. This key role requires extensive experience in facilities management and the ability to lead teams to ensure optimal operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct regular site visits to review curb appeal, maintenance projects, reports, work productivity, site inventories, adherence to policies and procedures, capital improvement projects, and quarterly community standards inspections.
- →Work with on-site teams and Regional Managers to promptly correct deficiencies identified during site inspections.
- →Reinforce community environmental safety programs such as Asbestos, LBP, and Mold response policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- →Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements while maintaining high-quality standards.
- →Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential crises and ensure business continuity.
- →Identify training needs and partner with Learning & Development to enhance operational efficiency.
- →Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as make-ready and work order completion times.
- →Assist with implementing and ensuring compliance with programs at the site level, including Predictive and Preventative Maintenance, Emergency Preparedness, and Preferred Vendor Programs.
- →Assist Regional Managers and the Director of Facilities in developing annual capital budgets.
- →Assist with developing scopes, bid analysis, and project management for capital projects.
- →Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- →Support other operational goals and objectives as defined by the Director of Facilities and VP of Operations.
- →Daily travel may be required for property visits, conferences, training sessions, or other business-related activities.
Requirements
- ✓Ability to travel across the portfolio daily.
- ✓Consistent, regular, and in-person attendance during regular working hours is required.
- ✓Flexibility with working schedule based on business needs and deadlines.
- ✓Ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
- ✓Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- ✓Understanding of current legal responsibilities of the properties.
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively with other associates.
- ✓Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office, and Outlook.
