About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled short-form video editor to transform raw footage into engaging, high-performing vertical content optimized for social distribution. This role focuses on creating attention-driven content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Edit 28+ vertical videos per month
- →Create optimized versions for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- →Add captions, pacing, transitions, and hooks
- →Select appropriate B-roll that is accurate and contextually correct
- →Ensure content aligns with platform trends and audience behavior
- →Understand basic social media strategy and identify hooks and retention points
- →Structure videos for maximum watch time
- →Adapt organic content for paid media when required
- →Use AI tools to accelerate editing workflows (bonus)
- →Create static ads or AI-generated variations (bonus)
- →Repurpose organic content into paid ad creatives (bonus)
- →Generate alternate versions efficiently (bonus)
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience editing short-form vertical content
- ✓Portfolio showcasing vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- ✓Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention
- ✓Ability to work independently
- ✓Attention to detail, including contextually accurate B-roll selection
- ✓Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly
