About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join Astronomer, the company behind Astro, the industry-leading unified DataOps platform. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, you'll be a key driver of pipeline for the sales team, identifying and qualifying high-potential leads.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prospect and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- →Qualify inbound and outbound leads for fit across needs, budget, and intent
- →Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to refine MQL-to-SQL conversion strategies
- →Use Salesforce, sales automation platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track engagement
- →Stay updated with industry trends, customer pain points, and Astronomer's value proposition
- →Own pipeline goals including outreach volume, meetings set, and conversion rates
