About the Role
Atom Computing is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to enhance software development workflows and maintain critical infrastructure for their quantum computers. This role involves working across the entire stack to enable seamless software deployment and system operation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Administer and maintain on-premise Linux servers and Windows VMs for reliable quantum computing environment operation
- →Design and implement automated workflows for managing and scaling cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- →Build and optimize monitoring, alerting, and performance metrics systems
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- ✓BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- ✓Minimum 5+ years of experience maintaining large scale distributed systems
- ✓Strong understanding of cloud deployment using Azure, AWS or GCP
- ✓Experience with on-premise hardware services including virtualization and containerization
- ✓Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions
- ✓Proficiency in metrics, monitoring, and alerting pipelines using Datadog, Grafana, or similar tools
- ✓Skills in architecting infrastructure workflows with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kubernetes
