About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated staff software engineer to join AuditBoard, a leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform. This role involves leading a team to drive strategic projects and architect scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and ship product features end-to-end
- →Write clear and well-defined design documentation
- →Mentor fellow engineers
- →Lead application architecture decisions
- →Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software bugs
- →Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS
- →Work on our Ember SPA front-end
- →Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
- →Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
- →Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code
- →Be product-minded and think about the customer
- →Work with JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, Python, and PostgreSQL
- →Contribute to open-source projects
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience developing web-based applications
- ✓Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- ✓Experience writing REST/JSON APIs
- ✓Experience writing software tests
- ✓Ability to solve technical problems independently
- ✓Motivation to work hard and always be learning
- ✓BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
