About the Role
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to support quality strategies and achieve targets aligned with company goals. This role involves managing supplier quality, implementing process controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support quality strategies to achieve targets aligned with company goals
- →Review past performances and perform risk assessments
- →Define key focus areas, measurables, targets, and identify impact projects
- →Deploy agreed SQM Quality strategy to all interested parties
- →Implement robust process controls to prevent defects from entering the shopfloor
- →Use data systems to collect and evaluate supplier quality KPIs
- →Contribute to supplier quality reports in the plant
- →Track target setting and plan fulfillment in the context of SQMS
- →Perform process audits for the plant
- →Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards
- →Maintain and expand business partnerships with customers and suppliers
- →Understand customer requirements and deliver accordingly
- →Ensure Continental Quality requirements are understood and complied with by suppliers
- →Collaborate with management during supplier escalation
- →Drive root cause analysis and implement countermeasures at suppliers
- →Utilize statistical tools to analyze data and identify root causes
- →Drive scrap performance improvement and management
- →Support new product launches and model rolls
- →Drive TPM, Kaizen, and Lean initiatives in manufacturing
Requirements
- ✓Experience in quality management and supplier quality engineering
- ✓Knowledge of IATF and VDA standards
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Experience with statistical tools and data analysis
- ✓Understanding of manufacturing processes and defect prevention
- ✓Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Experience with TPM, Kaizen, and Lean methodologies
