About the Role
Aurora is seeking a Vehicle Integration Test Engineer to join their Vehicle Integration Test and Evaluation group. This role is responsible for testing and evaluating the integration of vehicle platforms, sensors, compute platforms, and autonomy software in autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- →Establish and maintain technical understanding of the fully integrated product
- →Collect and generate artifacts for verification evidence
- →Design and plan test scenarios for various operational environments
- →Execute and observe tests in a dynamic vehicle
- →Analyze real-time test observations and recorded data
- →Report formal test results to internal stakeholders
- →Identify safety hazards and assess associated risks
- →Maintain familiarity with offline test environments
Requirements
- ✓Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field
- ✓Minimum 3+ years of experience in test and evaluation of safety-critical products
- ✓Experience with Systems Engineering verification and validation
- ✓Real-world experience with risk management concepts
- ✓Ability to work with ambiguity and evolving priorities
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
