About the Role
We are looking for a Project Finance Manager to support project delivery, finance, and operations teams across Avalere Health. This role collaborates with client delivery, project management, and commercial finance teams to ensure financial health and consistency while leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- βEstablish new company-wide processes to support project finance activities with financial controls
- βLead a team of 8-10 project finance professionals across the US and UK
- βCollaborate with project management and client service teams to manage financial data in WorkFront and NetSuite systems
- βReview monthly client budgets and actuals to verify billing and revenue recognition
- βSupport finance teams in key initiatives including margin analysis and business KPI development
- βManage accrued revenue and deferred liabilities to maximize cash flow
- βAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements
- βChampion continuous improvement initiatives around project management software
Requirements
- β7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- βProven leadership and coaching skills managing diverse remote teams
- βEntrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate through ambiguity
- βExcellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- βSelf-starter with strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- βHigh attention to detail with big-picture awareness
- βCompelling influencing skills for cross-functional collaboration
- βCommitment to continuous improvement
- βProficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe WorkFront, and Oracle NetSuite
