About the Role
Avertium is seeking an Intern DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the development, maintenance, and optimization of our workflows and infrastructure, working closely with our DevOps team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in writing and maintaining scripts to automate workflows
- →Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- →Support the development of CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools
- →Help manage and configure ServiceNow instances for incident, change, and problem management
- →Monitor system performance and availability, providing insights for optimization
- →Participate in daily stand-ups to report progress and challenges
- →Assist in backlog grooming sessions to prioritize tasks and ensure alignment with project goals
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ✓Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools
- ✓Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is a plus
- ✓Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum is preferred
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- ✓Preferred: Microsoft Azure experience
