About the Role
We are seeking an EHS & Technical Lead to champion a robust safety culture and drive employee engagement across the site. This role focuses on achieving enhanced safety performance and cultivating a zero-tolerance approach to incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain a hands-on presence on the shopfloor to influence and drive safety awareness.
- →Cultivate a proactive and adaptable safety culture across all functions, overseeing EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and providing support/oversight for other Thermopatch sites in the Netherlands.
- →Develop and deliver environmental, health, and safety education and training to meet regulatory and Avery Dennison business standards.
- →Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement High-Value Learnings while maintaining EHS culture at a high level.
- →Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.
- →Travel for day visits to the Almere and Helmond sites approximately once every two weeks.
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in EHS leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- ✓Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
- ✓Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
- ✓Experience in incident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
