About the Role

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager to drive demand for Sunosi in approved patients with excessive daytime sleepiness. This field-based role requires building relationships with healthcare customers while maximizing digital engagement.

Key Responsibilities

→Execute commercial activities for assigned geography
→Develop effective territory business plans to achieve annual goals
→Promote Sunosi within approved labeling guidelines
→Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs
→Serve as a resource for payer policies and processes
→Maximize marketing resources to grow customer confidence
→Communicate territory activity accurately and timely
→Provide feedback to sales and commercial leadership
→Complete all required training and administrative duties
→Manage promotional budget effectively
→Collaborate across corporate functions
→Attend medical congresses and society meetings
→Ensure patient access through services and savings programs

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
✓Minimum 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management
✓Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding results
✓Minimum 3 years Healthcare Professional experience with CNS/Psychiatry preferred
✓Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience preferred
✓Launch experience strongly preferred
✓Experience strategizing within cross-functional teams
✓Ability to manage multiple tasks under aggressive timelines
✓Patient support services experience a plus
✓Strong digital marketing aptitude
✓Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
✓Physical requirements: frequent driving, prolonged sitting/standing, lifting up to 30lbs
