About the Role
Bestow is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to serve as a practice lead and behavioral architect for software quality across the organization. This role involves championing practices like Definition of Ready and Spec-Driven Development while contributing to automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and facilitate Definition of Ready (DoR) workshops
- →Conduct Example Mapping and Specification by Example sessions
- →Design and implement API test strategies aligned to structured specifications
- →Contribute to RESTful API testing using contract validation and schema enforcement
- →Scale Definition of Ready and specification practices across the engineering organization
- →Train Quality Engineers and SDETs to facilitate structured refinement sessions
- →Improve cross-functional documentation clarity
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering roles
- ✓Demonstrated experience facilitating structured requirements practices
- ✓Strong API testing expertise (REST, schema validation, contract testing)
- ✓Proficient in UI automation disciplines
- ✓Experience contributing to test framework architecture or shared utilities
- ✓Clear understanding of CI/CD validation workflows
- ✓Experience maintaining requirements-to-test traceability
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Coaching and facilitation expertise
