About the Role
We are looking for a Senior VFX Artist to join our passionate team working on Blight: Survival, a hotly anticipated debut IP from Haenir Studio. You’ll collaborate with a team of veteran professionals to produce high-quality VFX that meet the project’s ambitious standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Bring the artistic director's vision to life by creating high-quality VFX
- →Act as a bridge between design, art, and tech to find the best ways to add VFX that support and enhance gameplay mechanics
- →Assist and collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects
- →Optimize VFX performance across different platforms
Requirements
- ✓Strong artistic sense with the ability to create visually appealing work that matches the game's vision
- ✓Experience creating quality gameplay VFX in video game production
- ✓Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, including in-depth expertise with its particle systems
- ✓Knowledge of Houdini is a plus
- ✓High level of technical and artistic autonomy
- ✓5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the game industry
- ✓3 years of experience with Unreal and Maya
- ✓In-depth knowledge of particle systems and shader usage
- ✓Solid foundation in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and lighting
- ✓Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- ✓Comfortable communicating and writing documents in both French and English
