About the Role
A1 is building a proactive AI system that users rely on daily across conversations, tools, and workflows. You will define how AI feels in usersβ hands, focusing on building production-quality iOS applications where AI is a core interaction layer.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
- βIntegrate AI-powered features through backend APIs
- βDesign UX patterns for AI interactions, including loading states and streaming responses
- βOptimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency
- βCapture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation
- βCollaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design
- βMaintain high App Store quality and production reliability
Requirements
- β3+ years of iOS development experience using Swift
- βHands-on experience integrating AI-powered features into mobile apps
- βStrong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks
- βSolid iOS performance and memory optimization skills
- βExperience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps
- βComfort designing for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior
- βExposure to CoreML or light on-device ML
- βFamiliarity with feature flags or remote configuration systems
- βStrong intuition for AI UX patterns and user trust considerations
