About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Creative Brand Copywriter (Bahasa Melayu) to join BJAK, a leading application platform developer in Southeast Asia. This role focuses on translating complex ideas into compelling, culturally relevant narratives across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write compelling copy for campaigns, digital ads, social media, landing pages, and product content
- →Develop brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and tone-of-voice guidelines
- →Produce scripts and storylines for short-form videos, social content, and podcast-style formats
- →Create engaging captions, dialogues, and copy optimized for social media platforms
- →Work closely with designers, video producers, and marketing teams to bring stories to life
- →Stay on top of cultural trends, social formats, and viral content styles
Requirements
- ✓1–3 years of experience in brand copywriting, content writing, or creative writing
- ✓Strong writing skills with examples across social media, scripts, short-form content, or campaign copy
- ✓Understanding of social media behavior, trends, formats, and what drives audience engagement
- ✓Ability to ideate, pitch, and refine concepts into clear and compelling copy
- ✓Excellent command of English (Malay is a plus)
- ✓A portfolio showcasing creative writing, scripts, storytelling, or digital content
