About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing for Japan to lead the launch and growth of Square's product suite in the Japanese market. This role involves managing a team of Product Marketing Managers and championing the voice of the customer to influence product development and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

→Define Japan product marketing priorities in alignment with product and GTM strategies
→Identify and pursue growth opportunities across Square Japan's portfolio
→Translate business priorities into actionable regional plans
→Lead a team of product marketers, focusing on coaching and career development
→Collaborate to design the product roadmap and conduct market research
→Drive go-to-market strategies across the customer journey
→Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs
→Partner with global teams to identify product opportunities and share market insights

Requirements

✓Fluency in both English and Japanese
✓8+ years of product marketing experience
✓3+ years of experience managing a team
✓Strong record of leading cross-functional initiatives
✓Experience designing go-to-market strategies and conducting customer insights research
✓Ability to influence product direction with market data and customer insights
✓Ability to partner with global stakeholders and understand cultural and market nuances
