About the Role
We are looking for a Platform Product Manager, Monetization to join Block, Inc. This role focuses on owning the platform that powers our SaaS business and developing strategy for large-scale pricing and packaging updates for our sellers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Run your product like a business - define the vision, strategy, roadmap for your domain
- →Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data science, design, marketing, sales, and other teams
- →Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your capabilities - from opportunity discovery through launch and optimization
- →Use data to improve platform performance: own KPIs and OKRs for your product domain
- →Drive cross-functional programs across Block, aligning priorities and communicating progress
- →Deeply understand our platform and capabilities, advise other teams, and collaborate on solutions
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager for a platform, SaaS, or payments product
- ✓Experience working with high-performing software engineers using AI and agile practices
- ✓System-thinking mindset and technical fluency to work with senior engineers
- ✓Ability to prioritize ruthlessly across KLO work, strategic platform investments, and new product enablement
- ✓Collaborative working style with a track record of building strong partnerships
- ✓Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences and drive alignment with senior stakeholders
- ✓Metrics-driven approach to decision-making; comfortable defining KPIs and using insights to guide roadmap
- ✓Curiosity, ownership, and a bias for action
- ✓Passion for Square's mission and solving complex problems
