About the Role

The Procurement Contracts Operations Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and improving a scalable procurement contracting delivery model in partnership with Procurement, Legal, and risk stakeholders. This role provides enterprise-level oversight of contract lifecycle management and global contract performance across the Global Procurement Organization.

Key Responsibilities

→Implement and maintain a risk-tiered procurement contracting operating model defined and approved by Legal
→Optimize end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes, ensuring scalability and compliance
→Operationalize Legal-approved frameworks through standardized contract templates and playbooks
→Embed contracting standards into sourcing and category strategies
→Lead the end-to-end strategy for low-dollar, low-risk deals
→Establish governance, reporting, and analytics across the contract lifecycle
→Support internal and external audits, SOX controls, and regulatory reviews
→Provide strategic oversight of the Procurement BPO contracting operating model
→Develop, manage, and refine SLAs and performance metrics
→Monitor contracting performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
→Act as a primary escalation and resolution point for contract execution issues
→Enable and coach Procurement teams on contracting process discipline
→Contribute to long-term procurement contracting and operating strategies
→Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance broader procurement objectives
→Develop and enforce procurement contracting training for relevant teams

Requirements

✓12+ years of experience in procurement operations, contract management, or related functions in complex, regulated environments
✓Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
✓Experience partnering with Procurement and Legal to operationalize contracting frameworks
✓Deep knowledge of end-to-end CLM workflows
✓Experience governing global Procurement BPO or shared services models
✓Experience designing and operating low-dollar, low-risk deal models
✓Capability developing and managing SLAs and performance frameworks
✓Strong executive presence with collaboration skills
✓Proficiency with procurement orchestration platforms and CLM systems
