About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Cash App Card team at Block, Inc. This role focuses on building the Cash Card as the primary card of choice through delightful and seamless end-to-end experiences for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leads to scope, plan, design, and build new features
- →Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions across the organization
- →Design systems within our microservice and event-driven architectures
- →Maintain high engineering standards for yourself and your teammates
- →Coach and mentor teammates to grow their technical skills
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software development experience
- ✓2+ years of experience leading large-scale features
- ✓Ability to design and build creative solutions to complex problems
- ✓Strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
