About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our 12-month rotational program focused on developing AI-native product leaders. This role will involve working with engineering, design, research, data science, and AI teams to explore opportunities, define problems, prototype solutions, and ship impactful work.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute directly to product teams tackling real-world challenges for Square’s global sellers
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities and define problems
- →Rapidly prototype with modern AI tools and use data and models to deepen insights
- →Apply AI assistants to extend your reach and velocity
- →Work on real products used by millions, supported by mentorship and community
Requirements
- ✓2-5 years of work experience in a related field, OR degree in business, data/analytics, computer science, or engineering, plus an internship in a related field
- ✓Hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Replit, v0, ML models, data workflows)
- ✓Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Passion for product building and alignment with Square’s mission of economic empowerment
- ✓A technical or design background is a plus but not required
