About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Developer to join our growing team at BlueCat, a leader in Intelligent Network Operations. You will work on building a new dynamic feature for the Network Observability suite, leveraging open source technologies and following Agile development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understanding and/or creating architecture design diagrams
- →Leveraging open source and open standards to deliver new services with minimal coding
- →Creating a new dynamic service for Network Observability
- →Implementing effective security protocols and data protection measures
- →Implementing automated testing harness to fully exercise new service
- →Coordinating with internal teams to train and support new technical solutions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- ✓Strong knowledge and history of leveraging open source and open technology
- ✓Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and gRPC strongly preferred
- ✓Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- ✓Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
- ✓Golang and REST API integration experience using any framework
