About the Role
Bosch is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join their worldwide team. In this critical role, you will be the architect and driver of automation for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server and Cloud services, developing and implementing solutions that ensure stability, security, and efficiency across thousands of systems globally.
Key Responsibilities
- βImplement API-driven automations for global Linux and Cloud service operations
- βDesign end-to-end automation for OS installation, hardening, patch management, and upgrades
- βDrive continuous improvement of automation for Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management
- βChampion secure coding practices and maintain our CI/CD pipeline
- βMaintain high availability of systems and collaborate with support teams
- βConsult with IT and DevOps teams on security best practices
- βPerform host management and create automations for cloud platforms
Requirements
- βExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Cloud services
- βStrong understanding of automation principles and API-driven solutions
- βKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices
- βFamiliarity with ITIL processes
- βExperience with large-scale Linux server environments
- βAbility to collaborate with technical teams and provide consultation
