About the Role
Robert Bosch LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to develop embedded software for electronic stability control and electromechanical brake systems. This role involves working with automotive OEMs and ensuring compliance with ASPICE processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and configure software components for electronic stability control and brake systems
- →Maintain existing software according to ASPICE compliant processes
- →Perform requirements engineering, design, implementation, integration, and testing
- →Release and deliver complete software to plants or customers
- →Develop base/infrastructural software components and integrate complete software
- →Work on functional and software requirements engineering
- →Evaluate performance of unit, component, integration, and release testing
- →Set up and maintain HIL/SIL test environments
- →Support team members in lab and vehicle troubleshooting
- →Lead or participate in quality initiatives
- →Train and mentor less experienced engineers
- →Document work results and report to management
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- ✓5 years of experience in embedded software development in the automotive industry
- ✓Experience with C++ programming
- ✓Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, J1939)
- ✓Familiarity with Automotive SPICE®
- ✓Experience with embedded base SW development for brake control systems
- ✓HIL testing setup and execution experience
- ✓Proficiency with application lifecycle management tools (IBM Rational®, ALM, DOORS, JIRA, Enterprise Architect)
- ✓Experience with software project management and agile methods (Scrum)
